MIDDLE SCHOOL ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS (Grades 6-8)
Friday afternoon, October 14 - Tweed Courthouse, Manhattan
In order to support a culture of post-secondary readiness among English Language Learners (ELLs) and families, the NYCDOE is excited to host this citywide conference for ELL Middle School students and their families.
This conference will be held on Friday, October 14 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Tweed Courthouse (52 Chambers Street, New York, NY 10007).
Chancellor Fariña will provide welcoming remarks, followed by a keynote address from NYC Council Education Chair Danny Dromm. Families will meet with representatives from local colleges and college readiness organizations, along with DOE staff.
